The Xbox 360 is a video game console produced by Microsoft. The Xbox 360 is the successor of the Xbox and it was developed with the help of IBM, SiS and ATI.

Its main advantage against its competitors (the Sony's PS3 and the Nintendo's Wii) is its Xbox Live service. This service allow players to play against each others online, to download contents as game demos, arcade game, TV shows, trailers and movies.

The Xbox 360 was released in 2005. In the United States and Canada in November, and in December in Europe, Japan and Australia. This early launch gave Microsoft a one year-lead against its competitors and this fact lead to 17.7 million Xbox 360 sold as of January 3, 2008.

The Xbox 360 is one of the best consoles ever, and its game library is composed of about 446 games of every genre. Games like the Call of Duty series are very famous and they become very interesting while on the Xbox live.
