Warcraft

Warcraft is a real time strategy video game series developed by Blizzard Entertainment. The game takes place in a medieval fantasy universe where two factions, the alliance and the horde, fight each others.

Warcraft: Orc & Humans was released in 1995 and it is the real time strategy game that established the imaginary universe many fans love. It uses the game play of Dune II and the game describes the confrontation between the human of Azeroth and the orcs that arrived with a magical portal. You have to choose a side and lead it to victory. The sequels allow you to control the destiny of each species of the game.

Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness is the direct sequel of the first opus. It was released in 1996 and it really launched the development of a community fond of this universe. It also allowed players to play in multiplayer mode via network and online with the expansion Beyond the Dark Portal.
In Warcraft III, new species appear. Undead, Elves and Nagas enter the universe and fight for the alliance and the horde. This opus was a huge success and it is still one of the favorite real time strategy games for many fans of the genre.
