Superhero film is a genre that focuses on the action of one or more superheroes who possess superhuman abilities. The majority of superhero films are action ones which include a flashback or a focus on the origins of the powers of the characters. The plot is generally about a hero who has to fight a villain in order to save the world from a threat.
