Ronal Francis Pearlman (13th April 1950) is an American television, film and voice over actor.

He started his career in a French movie, directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud, Quest for Fire. Then he experienced a long period during which he performed only in minor movies or in supporting roles.

He became quite famous when he began to play in the TV series Beauty and the Beast, with Linda Hamilton (Terminator I, II). He even received a Golden Globe for an Actor in a Television Series (1989), for the role of Vincent, the Beast.

Then he played in many films (minor roles) and series through the nineties: Alien IV, Highlander, the Name of the Rose[ (Sean Connery, Christian Slater.).

Then he finally got the main role in the City of lost children (1995;Pierre Jeunet), then in Hellboy (2004).

Compared to actor like Brad Pitt, George Clooney, he has not a typical beauty. But his qualities as an actor are unbelievable.

He has also lent his voice to a large number of video games (Turok, Halo I, II) and animated series (Iron Man). He is going to be the voice soon in the animated of Robert E. Howard s, Red nails, which is coming soon. He will play the voice of Conan the Barbarian.
