Guitar Hero is a rhythm video game released in 2005 on Playstation 2. It was published by RedOctane and Activision. The main goal is to play the guitar and rock songs thanks to this "guitar" without making wrong notes.

The player has to pretend he is really playing with this instrument by pushing the five coloured buttons located on the fingerboard.

The game proposes a very simple way to play the guitar; it is very fun to try even more when you wishes are to be like Mister Clapton!!! Everyone can become a great guitarist.

The games support both individual and cooperative play and competitive modes for two players. The series allows the use of tracks from the 1960s to nowadays. In total, four games have been released for video game consoles, while one game has been released for mobile phones.
