Gordon freeman

Gordon Freeman is the fictitious, silent protagonist of the Half-Life series of first-person shooter video games developed by Valve Software.

Known as a brilliant theoretical physicist, Gordon is fighting to survive when a Black Mesa experiment in high level physics goes horribly wrong. In the process, he becomes one of the leaders of a resistance movement against aliens who invade Earth.

Freeman was born in Seattle and quickly showed interest in theoretical physics, especially quantum mechanics and the theory of general relativity.

After observing a series of teleportation experiments conducted by the Institute for Experimental Physics in Innsbruck, Austria, the transmission of matter became Freeman's obsession who graduated of MIT with a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics.

Disappointed with the slow pace of teleportation research, he sought work outside the education sector. He accepted a visiting fellowship position at the Black Mesa Research Facility, working on a top secret research project headed by his mentor at MIT, Dr. Isaac Kleiner.

While working on a mysterious crystal sample, he unconsciously opens a breach in a parallel world, Xen, full of aliens that enter the laboratory to attack all the personnel.

Freeman is miraculously alive and when he wakes up he discovers the damages and the creatures continue to chase the survivors. Freeman and the survivors try to fight them with the unique goal to go out.

He will discover that highly trained soldiers will prevent him from taking about what he saw; many researchers will be killed...
