Vehicular combat genre focuses on automobiles or other motor vehicles usually armed with guns or other weapons which aim at destroying the enemies' vehicles. Lots of vehicles are generally available to play with more or less abilities. Traditionally, vehicular combat games focus on fast-paced action inside the vehicle.

In this genre, the player has to defeat his enemies one by one before reaching the final where he will have to face the super boss. Vehicular combat games differ from traditional because the player doesn't really have of a path to follow. The main characteristic is a competition where the different characters fight and destroy one another to win.
