Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is a survival horror developed and published by Capcom, released on November 11, 1999 on Playstation. This is the 3rd part of the famous saga Resident Evil and the last to be released on Playsation (putting aside the various spin off of the series).

The story of the 3rd opus takes place before and after the events related in Resident evil 2. This time we take control of Jill Valentine, heroine of the very first episode. In civilian clothes she was surprised by the sudden arrival of zombies in Raccoon City and will then have to try to escape the city in one piece. In addition to the habitual monsters of the series, Jill will have to face a new creature sent by Umbrella to eliminate the last members of STARS. On his way she will meet members of the armed corps of Umbrella, Carlos Oliveira, Mikhail Victor and Nicholai Ginovaef , who are supposedly responsible for rescuing civilians and stop the epidemic of T virus'

In term of gameplay and progression this Resident Evil is close to its predecessors. We always have to go through prerendered bitmap backgrounds, killing monsters and solving puzzles. But what makes the true essence of this opus is the presence of Nemesis, the terrifying monster that will pursue Jill Valentine throughout the game. Announcing his arrival with his raucous voice accompanied by an oppressive music, the Nemesis arouses terror and panic to the players. The only option is to flee in order to not finish in his tentacles and experience a certain death. Tough and tenacious he will not hesitate to pursue the player from room to room, area by area, destroying all the obstacles on his way.

Although very classic in its gameplay and very light concerning its scenario, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis still offers an effective adventure, thanks to the Nemesis.
