Devil May Cry 4 is a Beat'em all released in early 2008 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, developed and published by Capcom. This is the 4th part of the major action series of Capcom, which made Devil May Cry pass on the next gen era.
The game takes place long after the events recounted in the very first episode. The player incarnate at the beginning of this adventure a young man named Nero, acting as new main character. The story takes place in the town of Fortuna where officiates the strange religious cult of the Order of the Sword at which Nero belongs, venerating Sparda, the demon savior of mankind. This worship makes it a point of honour to eradicate the demons. But one fine day, Dante, the charismatic hero of the previous Devil May Cry, comes at a Mass and executes Sanctus, the head of the order. Attending the whole scene, Nero decides to pursue Dante, and will discover during his adventure the terrible conspiracy behind Sanctus and the Order of the Sword.
Thus we incarnate Nero at the beginning of the game. With his revolver "Blue Rose" and his sword "Red Queen", Nero progress in missions by eliminating the demons that stand on his path, with nervousness and class that characterize the series. Nero, however, brings an important novelty of gameplay called the "Devil Bringer." Instead of his right arm, Nero has the Devil Bringer, a demonic arm enabling him to catch enemies and bring them back to him, as well as make devastating projections. For those who would be disappointed not being able to play with the great Dante, do not cry foul, the famous devil hunter will be playable later in the adventure, bringing with him elements of gameplay ever seen in the 3rd episode of the series.
With its beautiful graphics Devil May Cry 4 validates its passage on next-generation consoles. This 4th episode does not disappoint and is one of the greatest action games for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Long ago the Dark Knight Sparda rebelled against the dark emperor and waged a one-man war to save humanity. Thousands of years later, a religious organization worships this renowned savior and has taken it upon them selves to rid the world of all evil. Residing in Fortuna, this organization is known as the Order of the Sword, and is made up of an elite group of Holy Knights. One day a young knight named Nero witnesses Spardas legendary son Dante slaughter his fellow warriors. Has the renowned devil hunter turned his back on mankind? What does this encounter mean for these two individuals? Nero's new proclivities definitely tweak the formula, yet the fundamental DMC gameplay remains wonderfully intact.
