Airborne Assault: Red Devils over Arnhem is a real-time strategy and simulation game developed by Panther Games and published by Battlefront in 2002 to be run on Windows. It deals with historical battles.

It is a very complete game with 22 scenarios available; consequently its lifespan is quite long. The graphic are quite basic but the gameplay is enjoyable and quite easy.

Airborne assault can appear to be a difficult game especially for newbie, but the tutorials gather enough information to solve this problem. After a little time to adapt you will really appreciate this game and its wide range of missions.

Airborne Assault was well-received by all critics (PC Gamer, GameSpot, etc.).

Thanks to Airborne Assault you will have an idea of what were and how set the decisive battles during the Second World War.

You belong to the Operation Market Garden. You are engaged in battle ranging from Brigade to Corps level using Companies and Battalions of manoeuvres.

You can both play as both Alliesallies and Axis. Each of the 22 scenarios includes hundreds of units and 80.000 men and a total of 440 types of units. Moreover the game is shipped with a special application and it allows you to create your own scenario.
