Big Beach Sports is a sport game developed by HB Studios and published by THQ, released on June 2008 for the WiiThis game features single-player and multiplayer modes.

This game received mixed reviews from the gaming press; some critics praised it good beach games, and easy controls, and others asserted that its presentation is poor and the game itself too short. However it is a challenging and captivating game maybe more dedicated to children.
All of the games featured in Big Beach Sports allow up to 4 players playing at the same time, or in the case of Bocce and Disc Golf, taking alternate turns. To play all the games you only have to use the Wii Remote, they do not require the use of any peripheral.

At the beginning of the game you can create your character and then start the tournament where you compete against your opponent in the sport you chose. While playing you acquire Skill Points towards your character profile. These points are then used to calculate the difficulty of the CPU opponent whenever you play a Quick Play Match.

Big Beach Sports features a pleasant and useful application the Nintendo DS application; it downloads a small application from the Wii and allows you to draw your character s face (eyen ears, nose, mouth and eyebrows) and then upload it back from the DS to the Wii. Then your character will appear as you have drawn him/her in the game. This application does not necessitate any DS game to be inserted into the Nintendo DS.
