Alien Legacy is a science-fiction strategy game published in 1994 by Sierra On-Line, to be run on PC (DOS) . It is a single-player game, containing both simulationsimulator and real-time-strategy modes.
In Alien Legacy the set takes place in 2043 humans discover that there are aliens in the solar system. They try to establish a peaceful first contact but it fails and a missile barrage launched at earth. The missiles are fortunately destroyed but it is the starting point of and endless war.
In 2119 the humans are losing the war, to avoid to extinct, the Earth s government decide to send gigantic seedships or ?arks' to propel people and the sum of human knowledge across the stars.
In Alien Legacy you play as the captain of the Calypso, as you have just been awakened from stasis, your ship is orbiting the most habitable planet in the system. Apparently the enemy of Earth, the Tauntalus, did not colonize the planet yet. You decide to settle there with your passengers and crew members.
You will have to colonize this planet by building planetary cities and Space Stations. Several advisors will guide you during your mission to remind you what task you have complete.
Some of your task would have to be completed before a set limit of time. Your main goal is to ensure the survival of mankind.
