James Bond 007 : Agent Under Fire

Electronic Arts brings us its new James Bond episode called Agent under Fire. This is a single and multiplayer game.

The James Bond franchised really exploded on gaming consoles with the launch of the incredible Rare's GoldenEye for the N64 and has been bringing us new versions ever since. Nevertheless, this game is different from the others as you embark in an entirely original story that has nothing to do with Ian Fleming's novels.

You're mission is to stop an organization which clones world leader and replaces them with "evil twins". To help you across your journey, a female CIA agent joins you.

Agent Under Fire follows GoldenEye"s game play as this is a FPS game. Of course, you can't play a James Bond game without Q's very useful gadgets (laser-cell phone, grapple claw...). You'll also have the occasion to embark in many vehicles going from the simple car to the gadget filled BMW, passing by the usual tank.

What was added to the game are "the Bond moves" that you can use in each level. These moves allow you to use special actions like shooting a wire to drop a crate on an enemy. Use as many "Bond moves" as possible in each level as they will give you medals which will enable special bonuses (the classic golden gun which appears in every game and others). In addition, the game is filled with power ups to help you survive the hundreds of enemies that you cross (and kill) in the game.

James Bond 007: Agent under fire keeps in line with the range of James Bond games and will give you hours of fun as the famous 007 agent.

James Bond 007 : Agent Under Fire reviews

Agent Under Fire isn't a horrible game, but its lackluster level design, poor enemy AI, and easy level of difficulty pile up to detract from what it does offer greatly.
