Final Fantasy II is a role playing videogame, developed by Square Co., Ltd., released on Famicom in 1988 in Japan.
The human ambition can sometimes be seen as supernatural. When we wish to acquire the divine capacity and to control populations, it is impossible to achieve goals while making a pact with the demon. Palemecia is the unhealthy and destroying emperor empire of the same name.
This tyrant offered his heart to the devil to live and sow chaos and destruction, his goal is to control humanity. But four young orphans - Firion, Maria, Guy and Leon - refuse to see themselves imposing a domination, corroded by the hatred since their parents murder by the legions of the emperor.
Seeing their insubordination, Palemecia decided to purchase those four survivors and to inflict them a violent death. Thanks to the assistance of Princess Hilda and the old man Minnwu, they will manage to escape.

The gameplay of Final Fantasy II is comparable to that of the role-game of its time ( Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy series) and includes innovations, in particular the combat in subjective sight between the players and the enemies.However, it also proposes some important differences compared to the first opus, as playable characters have, for the first time in Final Fantasy, a preset name, which takes part in the creation of an own nature for each character.,,
