Star Wars the force unleashed is an action adventure game developed by LucasArts, Krome Studios, n-Space and published by LucasArts.
The ultimate Star Wars experience that fans have been waiting all along might finally be arriving in this new game. In this completely original story, that developers have taken years to create in collaboration with George Lucas, you'll have the opportunity to really feel what it's like to be a Sith apprentice as well as really using the Force.
Star Wars the force unleashed revolves around Starkiller, Darth Vader's newest apprentice. Starting just after the 3rd episode and finishing right before the 4th, you'll discover a whole new scenario involving characters from the saga and how they went from the first trilogy to the second. Your mission is basically following Vader's orders, the first one being killing the remaining Jedi. However, the game lets you evolve and apparently, you'll have a decision to make to stay on the dark side or start bringing the Sith down.
What distinguishes this game from others in the Star Wars series' Well, first, since it's a completely original scenario, developers have had the chance to imagine a Star Wars world fit for the best gaming experience. But the main reason is the use of the force which is pushed to its maximum in this game. From what we've seen, there will be several different uses of the force, each one of them having disastrous consequences on the environment around you. Plus, like a god of war, the use of the light saber seems to show some good action sequences.
The Star Wars trilogies have never had a videogame capable to follow the standards of the movie but it seems that time has ended and The Force Unleashed will bring a new direction from the series. There hasn't been another Star Wars game expected like this one, let's hope it's worth the wait.
