Bionic Commando is an adventure/platformer developed by GRIN and Capcom and published by Capcom. The game will be released on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
Bionic Commando is a very old game that many thought had disappeared forever and we would never hear of again. Well, after years of silence, the game is finally arriving on our gaming console in the best way possible.
The game takes place 10 year after the one the NES console. Nathan Spencer is a government and a TASC Operative in Ascension City. Things are not going well for our bionic commando, he has been betrayed by his own government (being imprisoned for acts that he never was a part of) and sentenced to death. However, right before his execution, a weapon is detonated in Ascension City and unleashed an earthquake and shockwaves that destroys the city along with its population. That lets Nathan escape and get back his bionic arm. Now is your chance to redeem your name and stop who ever used such weapon.
Bionic Commando relies on one thing that distinguishes him from other games, the bionic arm. Everything will be done from it. It has many utilizations, the main one being for movement as the arm can attach itself to anything. In other words, you'll be flying around beautiful backgrounds like Spider-Man. But you'll also use it to fight and resolve some puzzles. This will bring incredible action sequences that not many games are capable to offer.
Bionic Commando seems to have what it takes to make a name for itself in the fierce world of videogame. Graphics are stupendous, the gameplay looks really fun, and we have a very charismatic protagonist. No release date has been given, but Capcom assured that it was in the final stage of development and shouldn't be long before it hits our stores.
