The longest journey is a point and click adventure videogame developed by Funcom and published by Ubisoft in 1999 for PC.
April Ryan, an 18 years old art student, has just left her family and city for Newport, metropolis in which she intends to make her studies.

While missing inspiration, she unceasingly makes nightmares which seem quite real, getting a certain inspiration from them.

But, April is more and more frightened by these dreams, and soon, she meets a strange man called Cortez who knows everything about her nightmares. This one teaches her that she can travel between the worlds.

These worlds are Stark, the world of science, logic and Arcadia, the world of the magic, illogical and chaos.

April is thus a shifter able to go in the two worlds, and will have to restore the Balance between them and accomplish various tasks such as finding the Draic Kins or retrieving a mysterious disc and its jewels...
