Jak 3 is a platform videogame developed by Naughty Dog and published by SCEA. The game was released exclusively on PlayStation 2.

After two incredible adventures, our blond hero and his furry friend are back for one last ride in the Jak Trilogy. Jak and Daxter will have to face their greatest challenges yet.

Set in the New World, around 500 years after the events of the first game, Jak and Daxter are exiled from Haven City to the Wasteland by the Count Veger. The Wasteland is a huge desert with one major settlement, Spargus City. There, you will meet the king Damas who will ask you to work for him if you want to stay in the city. On the various missions he will give you, you will eventually cross paths with Ashelin who needs your help in Haven City. The Metal Heads and the new Krimzon Guard terrorize the citizens and use too much of their power. Jak and Daxter will once again start an epic journey to save the citizens, and even the world.

Jak 3 keeps in a general way, the gameplay as its predecessors. As to say, this is still a platform game in which you'll have puzzles to complete, weapons to play with, vehicles to drive, etc. Like Jak II, you'll advance in the story by completing a certain number of missions in a huge open-world. However, even if in the same setting, Jak III alters many environments from its precedent. Haven City has a new look and some levels have been entirely replaced by others. In addition, you also have new weapons bringing your total to 12. Finally, the last main novelty is the apparition of "Light Jak" (opposite of Dark Jak) which increases our hero's defenses.

Jak 3 is the last (main) adventure of our two beloved protagonists and for their finish; they give us a fascinating adventure with great characters and of course, tons of humor. If you like the other two, you're going to love this one!
