Batman Rise of Sin Tzu is an action beat em up video game developed and published by Ubisoft Montreal, released in 2003 for the Xbox, the PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo GameCube. This game features single-player and cooperative modes (up to 2 players).
Rise of Sin Tzu received mixed reviews from the gaming press; it was praised for its good and challenging gameplay, but was criticized for its lack of depth regarding its storyline.
This game is based on the comic bookcharacter Batman and the television series The New Batman Adventures. Batman is a superhero, whose secret identity is Bruce Wayne a multi-billionaire industry-owner, playboy and philanthropist. When he was a child he witnessed the murder of his parents and this awful event lead him to train him to physical and intellectual perfection and don a bat-themed costume in order to fight crime in the fictional Gotham City.
In Rise of Sin Tzu Batman has to face an enemy that differs totally from his prior opponents. This unknown enemy plunges Gotham City into chaos on the night of the anniversary of Wayne s parents' murder.
This villain called Sin Tzu, is not the only enemy Batman will have to defeat, there are also the Scarecrow, Clayface and Bane (villains featured in the comic book).
The story mode can be played either alone or cooperatively, and will reward you for completing levels not only by continuing the story, but also with an upgrades system.
Thanks to you will have the possibility to purchase new moves for your character and other game bonuses; there is also a challenge mode in which you (either cooperatively or competitively) can take on groups of thugs without a storyline.
