Valhalla Chronicles is role-playing and a hack and slashgame for PC, developed by Paradox Interactive (Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis) and released in 2003.

Valhalla s gameplay is based upon Diablo, a very successful game; unfortunately the game was partially dashed off and would have deserved more time to be well-achieved.

However it offers some positive elements, for example the background graphics are well-realized (like the forests or backdrops involving snow, etc.). There are also good atmospheric effects adapted to the environment.

You can also praise its musical score too that is really impressive, majestic and dramatic when needed.

You will play in a world of Nordic Mythology, you can choose one of the four characters available and embark for a treacherous quest of epic proportions, you will have to defeat the God of Valhalla., your ultimate goal.

Depending on the character you would have chosen you will have various weapons available, each character has his/her own and his/her own personality.

In Valhalla you will have to build your character s skills, expand your health and fight with strange creatures to become an accomplished and true warrior.

You will have to complete dangerous missions, even if your enemies are not really dangerous (not very intelligent), and achieve your quest.
