Rise of Nations is a real time strategy game developed by Big Huge Games and published by Microsoft in 2001. You embody a warlord who wants power and to conquer the world. You can win games by many ways but war is the fastest way.
Rise of Nations is a game which wants to be historical but of course you step in there and everything can evolve by many ways. The Game begins since antiquity where you start to develop agriculture in order to feed your civilisation. An important thing is the library which allows you to make your research evolving in different sectors. There are military researches, civic researches, economical researches and scientific researches. You must make researches in order to go from an age to the age after, there are 9 ages.
Every civilisation owns its own attributes with unique units. Some civilization will be better to wage war and some more efficient in building and developing. This is an entertaining and addictive game. You will want to play it many years after you stop it, you will feel you need to play it!
