BloodRayne

BloodRayne is a third person action game developed by Terminal Reality and published by Majesco.

Have you ever imagined what would Lara Croft be like in a game of undead and vampires' She would be Rayne. Rayne is the sexiest vampire slayer who's able to kill thousands of them in the tightest suit. The game begins in 1932 in this small village where visibly vampires are an everyday threat. Rayne begins by decapitating a man and his wife (who actually were vampires). Two men watch the scene and seem very interested in Rayne. They are part of the Brimstone society (whose purpose is the annihilation of vampires) and thinking of recruiting Rayne. You will then follow orders to free the world from a terrible menace.

Bloodrayne is an action game, which means you'll spend most of your time killing hundreds of vampires to finally get to your objective. You'll find yourself travelling in 3 different places (Louisiana, Argentina and Germany) to stop the evil organization Gegengheist Gruppe (G.G.G.) who is trying to bring Hitler to power with the powers of a devil, Beliar. You'll have the possibility to use various powers to defeat your enemies as you're a Damphir (born from a vampire and a human) which means you have all their powers but none of their weaknesses.

Blood Rayne is a good action game that adds to the collection the gaming consoles already have. With an interesting story and some good characters, the game saves itself from becoming just another game that will be forgotten in a couple of months.

BloodRayne reviews

Unfortunately, the gameplay in BloodRayne is every bit as derivative as the plot.
