Super Mario Sunshine is a platform game developed and published by Nintendo in 2002. The story takes place in the Delfino town in an Island where Mario has come with Princess Peach for a great vacation. Unfortunately for him, an evil guy who disguises himself into Mario is sowing discord in town. This guy is tagging walls and dirtying everything with a strange substance. That’s why Mario is accused for offences made by his double. In order to make his time, Mario has to clean tags and to make town cleaner.
Thus Mario is given FLUDD, a water machine which can throw water in different ways and can be reloaded easily if there is water near you. FLUDD allows Mario to throw water horizontally in order to attack his opponents and to clean the floor but that’s not all. If Mario sends water on the floor he can throw himself on it to slide very fast! Moreover, if he shoots vertically he can throw himself in the air like a jet pack thanks to the water pressure. That is what makes this Mario unique!
Like in every Mario you have to solve some enigmas and as Mario 64 you have to collect stars in every level to unlock new levels. However the challenge is really hard if you want to collect every stars because the game is really hard whereas the others Marios. This game is for fan and players who are looking for challenge!

On its own merits, Super Mario Sunshine is a solid game with a really distinctive look and some great moments, but it also has its fair share of shortcomings.
