Indigo Prophecy

Fahrenheit is an adventure videogame released on Pc, Playstation 2 and Xbox developed by Quantic Dreams and published by Atari in 2005.

New York, 2009, without any reason, ordinary people start to murder perfect strangers in public places. Even if there is no clear link between the killers, they seem to follow the same ritual to murder their victims.

You are Lucas Kane who becomes one of these murderers, when one night you kill someone in the toilets of a restaurant while in trance. Before thinking of what you've done, you decide to run away from this place.

Misunderstood and chased by Carla Valenti, a police officer and partner Tyler Miles, you will have to keep your mind clear to get through this experience and understand what is happening.

This game features a large amount of motion captured animation with a great realism and split screen cameras just like in the 24 TV show.
Sometimes, you have the feeling that you are the director of the game, for example in a scene crime, you become one of the two policemen and can join by phone one of your colleagues.

One of the great aspects of the game is indeed that you can be various characters!!!
You really feel that the scenario is great, like in movie, the suspense is here but big difference, you are the hero!

From a gameplay standpoint, Indigo isn't much to write home about. Most of the interaction consists of exploring static environments for clues and items, while action sequences consist of Simon Says minigames. But then again,

Indigo Prophecy previews

The adventure genre is one that hasn't really kept up with the times. Sure, the games have gotten prettier, and in some cases more complex, but it's not like in one of the more popular genres where companies are crawling over each other every couple of months to release a new innovative feature to make their game stand out -- especially on consoles.
