For shooter fans in serious need of something new to play, Area 51 fits the bill adequately. But for anyone looking for something more than an average shooter, it probably isn't worth it.

In this latest trailer for Area 51, David Duchovny narrates the back story for his character, Ethan Cole. "It was supposed to be a routine mission," he says. "We'd go in, clean, and get out. This, this was different. Government conspiracies, secret weapon factories, aliens -- I didn't believe any of it. This is my story, my journey..." It's a brief look at what is shaping up to be one of the best multiplatform shooters around, and gives a tease of what it's like to play with mutant powers, which you aquire as you progress through the game.
