Guild Wars Faction is a game developed by ArenaNet and published by NCsoft. This game is the second opus of the series of Guild Wars. It takes place into a new world away from the continent of the first game. You come to Cantha, a continent that looks like China, Japan and Korea. The all continent is an agglomerate of building and this looks like a giant city if you are looking a map. You arrive in this region after you have been invited to an investigation. Indeed, a dark epidemic seems to kill many people and transform them into terrible creatures.

Guild Wars Faction proposes two new classes with the assassin and elementalist. The assassin is the master of shadows and can do a lot of damage in a very short time. The elementalist is the master of spirits and this one invoke them to make major damage, to heal his friends or even to improve weapons of comrades.

In Guild Wars Faction there is also the confrontation between two factions: Kurziks and Luxons. The Kurziks live in a huge forest bordering the sea while Luxons are sailor people who once sailed on the Sea of Jade. You can take part in these battles by joining one or the other faction. Your victories and defeats will directly influence on the border between the two factions and a special mission appears if you manage to push through the opposing faction.
