Lemmings is a puzzle videogame originally released in 1991 for the Commodore Amiga. The game was later on released on various consoles, the most recent one being the PSP.

Lemmings has always had a huge fan base as it has always been one of the simplest yet most complicated puzzle games ever created. The point is, at first sight, very simple: guide your lemmings to the exit.

However, a Lemming is not a very intelligent creature. The green haired beings cannot do anything on their own and will follow your every single order. The game is filled with over 100 different levels in which you'll have to guide them using all sorts of tools. In order to complete the level, a certain percentage of Lemmings have to cross the exit door. However, on their way they will find many obstacles such as walls, holes, water, traps, etc.
If you don't give any orders to a Lemming, he will continue to walk until he hits a wall or falls down. You'll need to attribute certain tasks to some of your Lemmings in order to guide the others to the exit. There is a multitude of different tasks to assign. Blockers will send Lemmings in the other direction. Diggers will dig holes to open the path. Floaters can safely jump from a border, etc.

Lemmings has always been a great puzzle game and thanks to its many ports, millions of people are still guiding the green haired creatures today. A classic of the genre to be absolutely played as no other videogame since has delivered the same experience.
