Yoshi Island DS is a platform game developed by Artoon and published by Nintendo. One day a problem occurs at the School of Yoshi and all babies students have disappeared. As a brave Yoshi, you must save and bring them back to their parents. Thus begins your journey through various dangerous areas in order to bring back baby to their parents. You’re starting the game with Baby Mario on your back and you have to bring him to the end of levels.
Whenever you are hit by an enemy, the baby on your back flies in a bubble and you have to catch up before your star meter falls to zero. If that happens, you unfortunately lose the baby who is removed, my god! After going through an area you hand over, or rather the baby, to another Yoshi of a different colour. This creates a chain of Yoshi dedicated to saving babies!
In Yoshi Island DS you can swallow your enemies and turn them into eggs. This allows you to send it your enemies or to unlock some ways inaccessible otherwise. Come and discover this world with cute and endearing graphics!
