The Bourne Conspiracy

The Bourne Conspiracy is a third-person-espionage video game developed by High Moon Studios and published by Sierra Entertainment, released in 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

This game is based on the character developed by Robert Ludlum in his novels, and on the movie series adapted from the novel.

Matt Damonwho portrays Bourne in the movies offers no likeness with the main character in the game.
It was extremely well-received by critics from the gaming press; it was considered as a simple but fun game, with great music and visuals, this game is faithful to the movie atmosphere.

The game takes place within the confines of the first film; the Bourne Conspiracy gives players the experience of becoming a 30 million dollar elite agent, combining elements that delve deeply into Jason Bourne s character.

Jason Bourne is a CIA assassin who operates under the black-op organization called Treadstone. His quest consists of learning who he is and why heavily armed men are after him.

And as the game progresses, you will be provided with more clues to Bourne s true identity and begin the game by first hunting targets around the world as a deadly government assassin then labeled the agency s most wanted.

Throughout the game you will be able to watch some playable flashbacks between the missions. The Bourne Conspiracy also provides you some interesting cutscenes well produced and fully detailed.

The game is divided into eleven chapters that you have to complete to advance in the game, some chapters are flashbacks and take place in the past and some other are set in present day.

You will use Jason Bourne s sense of survival, cunning nature, heightened target awareness and firearms training to engage and eliminate small armies.

As a third-person espionage action game, players move from fistfights to firefights to experience sequences that aim to seamlessly blend Bourne s signature hand-to-hand combat with intense shooting and the ability to escape and evade deadly situations.

During combats there two attacks available to you light and heavy and a block button. There are also attacks combos consist of up to three consecutive light or heavy attacks, so they are eight possible combinations.

You can be victorious by straight-up pummeling, or you can use the adrenaline you've gained by landing successful blows to unleash a takedown.

Be careful with the Bosses at the end of the level. Indeed they are particularly talented brawlers that not only can survive multiple takedowns, but will try to perform takedowns on you.

Boss takedowns can be thwarted with a quick tap of the appropriate button, but if you miss, be prepared to take some substantial damage. Bosses are more resilient than Bourne, and Bourne, who regenerates health when not directly engaged in combat, can regain health only by performing takedowns.
