Peter Jackson's King Kong The Official Game of the Movie reviews

It isn't quite as impressive looking as its console counterparts, and it's a short ride, but there's still a great time to be had with King Kong on the PC.

Jackson's been down this road before, with Lord of the Rings, of course, where EA's pixel-perfect environments and character models made for a truly movie-like (if somewhat limited) experience. The old geezers are there because the wider world has seen nothing at all of King Kong, the movie, and the game gives away what is perhaps its biggest secret: the monkey. Having not seen King Kong -- the movie -- yet (it's due this holiday season) it's impossible to tell how much of the on-screen magic made it into this game, but judging by the demo, quite a bit.
