Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle is a platform action game developed and published by Sega, and released in 1989 for Sega Genesis, for the PlayStation II and PSP in the Sega Genesis Collection; and then for Wii in 2007.

Alex Kid in the Enchanted Castle is the fifth game in the Alex Kidd series.

Alex lives on Planet Aries led by his older brother King Igul, as their father
disappeared mysteriously a long time ago.

One day Alex hears rumors about his father, apparently he would be alive on Planet Paperrock. So he decided to travel to this strange planet and try to find his father.

The game offers 11 stages by fighting and avoiding enemies and obstacles. As you play Alex you can jump, kick, crawl or punch enemies, without any particular items.

Once you destroy your enemies they explode and turn into gold coins, called Baums.

You can gain new items and vehicles with the gold coins you collect throughout the game in gambling house.

These items can be motorcycle, personal helicopter or pogo stick, etc. It allows you to get across the level quicker.

You can choose how difficult will be the game. In default mode you will have three lives, in hard mode you will one life, and in the easiest five.

Do not forget that one hit of your enemy will kill you instantly.

Alex and the Enchanted Castle is a very challenging game, indeed each level requires different skills.

At the end of each level you will have to defeat a boss by entering into a match of Rock, Paper, and Scissors.
