Shadowrun

Shadowrun was developed by FASA Interactive and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

The game is inspired by the RPG by the same name. For those who don't know Shadowrun, it mixes the ingredients of technology and magic in the same world. In it you fight against a new species of men (half-human, half-robots).

In this version, the game is a FPS based on the same world but at a different time. Before continuing, it is necessary to know that this game is mainly, to not say entirely, dedicated to the online game, completely forgetting the solo mode. In this game what matters are confrontations, a story does not have its place here.
The game is different from other FPS online game by its quality of mixing arms and magic. It is possible to teletransport through walls, to see through objects, to fly, to revive the dead and also to create trees of life to recover health. That adds a completely new strategic vision where players spent hours to plan their attacks. Strategy is fundamental in this game because many magics can be used by both teams (the tree of life for example).

Like all the games of its kind, Shadowrun offers a great arsenal of arms and a multitude of maps to enjoy with some friends. As we said, this game is almost solely online (competing with the famous counter-strike) and the great novelty is that the players on Windows will be able to confront those on Xbox 360 (that makes a lot of enemies). Today, Shadowrun, due to sacrificing completely the solo game, is one of best online FPS games and the fans of the genre are going to go crazy with this PC version.

This game works only on Windows Vista.

Shadowrun reviews

This multiplayer-only shooter does absolutely nothing with the Shadowrun name, and its unique strengths are offset by a lack of variety.
