BioShock


Bioshock is a first person shooter videogame developed by Irrational games, published by 2k games and released on Xbox in August 2007.

You are Jack and after the crash of your plane in cold and unknown waters, you reach the dystopian city of Rapture, a hidden place under the ocean.

You learn the history of Rapture through audio recordings as you explore the city and discover that it was secretly built in 1946 by a businessman called Andrew Ryan and also a group of scientists, artists but unfortunately, the ideal world is no more and the place is full of dead bodies.

Rapture was seen as the solution to the increasing political and religious authority. The city was considered as an "Eden" for those who lived there.

Still, powerful keepers are watching the city's streets, children examining these dead bodies and genetically modified citizens are trying to murder you...

Thanks to your weapons which give you supernatural powers such as telekinesis or electrocution you will be able to fight them and understand what's going on in this mysterious lost city...

Bioshock is no doubt a great success, thanks to its 1.5 million copies sold, the game proved that not only it was brilliant according the fans but also for the critics.
