Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is a first person shooter video game developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo. The game is exclusively for the Wii console.
The coolest female bounty hunter is going to finish her mission in this first (for the Wii) and last (of the prime trilogy) game. Samus Aran deploys her best armor suit to fight against the infamous Space Pirates.
For the newcomers, let's retrace the story of the trilogy. Samus has been hired by the Galactic Federation to help them defeat the Space Pirates. Even if defeated in the first opus, they don't back down and try to seek power by using a recently discovered mutagen called Phazon. Luckily, once again, Samus is here to save the day and allows (by the end of the second game) the Galactic Federation to get a hold of the Phazon armaments and replicate them.
In this game, we learn that the Space Pirates still don't want to lose hope and turn to Dark Samus, the evil alter ego, for help. Dark Samus builds back the Pirate's force while at the same time turning them into faithful servants. Their goal is to use Phazon to corrupt the universe starting by the three Federation planets: Norion, Bryyo, and Elysia. Once again, Samus will have to put back on her armor and fight for the freedom of the universe.
Metroid Prime 3, being a FPS game, is perfectly adapted for the wii console. Simply aim with your Wiimote and move with the nunchuck. The controls are simple and intuitive and add a lot to the intensity of the action. Many features have been added compared to the first two games and now Samus can use the Phazon Enhancement Device that increases her attack and armor.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is a beautiful conclusion for this trilogy and any fan of the series or owner of the Wii console should try this game.
