Crash of the Titans

Crash of the titans is an action/adventure game developed by both Radical and Amaze Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment.

The almost-mascot of the playstation is back in its fourteenth episode. Crash embarks on his first adventure in the next-gen consoles to bring us a hilarious and fun game.

In this episode, Crash has to stop Doctor Neo Cortex evil plan to turn the people of the Wumpa Islands into an army of salve mutants. The game features twenty levels that will make you discover the whole island in a series of 5 themes (jungle, mines, temple, missile factory, and Dr. Neo's lair). In each level, you'll have to destroy enemy robots to advance in the game and unlock a mini-game. Now Crash has more attacks than in his previous games. He starts off with 2 basic attacks that you'll have to develop by destroying enemies or collecting enough items. The originality of the game is jacking titans. In order words, once you've stunned your enemy, you have the ability to control him and offering new attacks.

Crash of the titans is a great new episode to the series. Even if the game doesn't really change the classic adventure game, it's a pleasure to see the furry animal back in the videogame universe and with update gameplay and graphics. In addition, this is one of the rare games of the genre to come with a co-operative game (the irony being that most games integrate two protagonists but only playable alone) which offers a lot of fun and gives a new meaning to the game. Welcome back Crash, we missed you.

Crash of the Titans reviews

It's a fairly sturdy, combat-heavy platformer with a good hook, but it lacks a real distinct attitude.
